Overview
Automotive electricians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and electronic components in automobiles. Car electricians generally work for car repair shops, where they install, inspect, repair, and maintain all of the vehicle's electrical components. Installing new automotive wiring systems, installing and troubleshooting immobiliser and alarm systems, diagnosing electrical faults and recommending a course of action, and repairing and replacing defective wiring or electrical systems are all part of their work responsibilities. They also provide electrical automotive part servicing and maintaining and repairing agricultural vehicles' electrical systems.
