If such a situation is to arise, they provide first aid, deal with unruly passengers, and manage evacuations. They work collaboratively with the entire flight crew on board the aircraft, and report to the pilot and lead cabin attendant. The passengers on the flight, act as representatives of the airline. By enhancing customer satisfaction, they contribute to the revenue growth of the airlines. They assist the passengers throughout the flight, by helping them with the carry-on luggage, serving food/ beverages, providing information about the flight journey, responding to emergencies. A flight attendant should be amicable and energetic, and fluent in verbal communication. In order to ensure the safety of the passengers, a flight attendant has to successfully complete a background check. Certain physical requirements of height and vision also need to be met in order to ensure that the flight attendant shall be able to carry out their duties efficiently.
