Career outlook
Many firms may recruit event stewards directly out of a related college or university curriculum. Many people in this sector develop their firms, especially in the wedding and party planning industries. These persons may begin by assisting in the organisation of events for people they know or through other social ties, eventually expanding to a full-fledged event planning firm. They may organise larger events that pay higher, or they may supervise a team of stewards who are each in charge of a particular aspect of the planning process.
