Who is Theater Artist?
A theatre artist is one who works with one or more theatre groups as a professional actor. Other artists can also work as technical support persons like lighting professionals, set designers. A Theatre artist is the one who helps or supports in the conceptualizing, rehearsing or enacting plays. Theatre artists work in theatres as playwriters, performers, designers and scene constructors, lighting. Theatre is considered as the most comprehensive of all arts, also most challenging and exciting. A Theater artist can work in acting school, national school of drama, Indian theatres. Theatre artists with a bachelor's degree and at least one theatre-related internship, as well as formal training and experience, will have an easier time finding work.

What does Theater Artist do?
Theatre artists express ideas and portray characters in theatre, film, television, and other performing arts media. They can also be found working at amusement parks or other live events. They act out a writer's screenplay in order to entertain or educate an audience. Artists sing, dance, or perform a musical instrument in some stage or cinema productions. For some roles, an artist must learn a new skill, such as horseback riding or stage fighting.

What are the skills, abilities & aptitude needed to become Theater Artist?
Actors, singers, and dancers who perform in front of an audience are known as theatre performers. They play characters on stage or in films and work with the creative team to bring a piece of theatre to life. Theatrical artists include actors, dancers, and singers, to name a few. They must be able to follow the director's instructions. Because they must work as a group as well as alone, they have excellent teamwork skills. They are also capable of detecting lines and directions. A theatrical performer must be comfortable performing in front of an audience. They should also have improv/ad-libbing experience. They must be willing to work irregular hours because most plays and shows take place at night and on weekends (evenings and weekends). They should be able to perform and recite dialogues and plays Clein in front of an audience, thus they should have strong oratory abilities. Many practitioners in the performing arts are self-employed, and because actors, dancers, singers, and musicians all have to apply for jobs, they must be able to sell themselves. Resilience and persistence are required to meet these hurdles. Performers must be able to adapt their skills to a variety of roles, genres, approaches, and styles. As a result, they are highly adaptable when it comes to changing roles.
