BA LL.B (Hons.)Criminal Law is a unique 5 years law integrated programme that combines Law studies in Criminal or Prosecution with degree studies in the field of Arts with primary focus being on imparting knowledge if la studies. It covers Law studies in specialized fields like Administrative Law, International Law, Labour Laws, Tax Laws, Corporate Laws, Civil law, Criminal law, Patent law as well as Arts subjects like History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics etc. Candidates can expect to work as Lawyers both as prosecutors or defence lawyers for Government or Private entities. They can also work in revenue and excise department and in banking sector etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 5 to 10 Lakhs per annum. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 55% and are expected to give entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT or ULSAT according to University criteria. Average Fees for the course is between 1 lakhs to 3 Lakhs INR per annum depending on the institution.
