Course Description

B.Com in Foreign Trade is an undergraduate level course of 3 years that trains aspiring candidates in the field of international business and markets and imparts understanding of foreign trade policies as well as draft policies to improve products and services profitability overseas. Some popular topics students are introduced in this branch of BCom are Indian Foreign Trade Policy, Foreign Trade Policies and Financing, Basics of Foreign Trade, International Market, Foreign Trade Management, Export and Import Policies, International Shipping and Documentation etc. Upon completion of the course, candidates can expect to get jobs in sectors like Import and Export Industry, Company Trade Relations Department, Customs department, Aviation and Shipping Agencies etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 2 to 5 Lakhs per annum depending on the type of organisation and job position. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete 10+2 in commerce with minimum 50%. Fees in Colleges/Universities are somewhere between 20K to 2 Lakhs INR.
