B. Com. LL.B (Hons.) Legal Compliance and Secretarial Practices is a unique 5 years law integrated programme that combines Law studies with Commercial studies especially in field of Legal compliance and secretarial practice. It is aimed at producing Lawyers who have extensive experience in various corporate laws and commercial / legal documentation of businesses. Some of the popular subjects covered are Business Accounting, Law of Tort and Consumer Protection Laws, Business Mathematics, Law of Contract, Financial Management, Law of Crimes, Constitutional Law, Business Policy and Strategy etc. Candidates can expect to work as Lawyers in State Bar councils, Legal department of companies, Global Audit and Compliance Firms as well as for Government in Legal prosecution as well as Civil services. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 5 to 10 Lakhs per annum. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete 10+2 or equivalent in commerce stream with minimum 55% and are expected to give entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT or ULSAT according to University criteria.
