B.Com Logistics and Shipping degree is to provide students with a curriculum in the understanding and interpreting of logistics management principles and for preparing a career in the shipping and logistics field. This is a field of study that incorporates shipping methods by using water routes and integrates with Logistics. Enrolled students are expected to have prior knowledge and interest of logistics and transport operations (by ship) and supply chain activities. Further, they will learn about inventory, warehousing, shipping planning and operations, transportation, sourcing and procurement with safety measures, laws and management skills of logistics and transport.
