Course Description
Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textile is a specialization course which allows candidates to explore the art of creating clothes that are aesthetic to the eye and also the role of textiles within society. The course gives knowledge about the various technologies used in the fashion and textile industry as well as their applications. There are five areas that the textile industry specializes in- weave, knit, dye, embroidery and print. Candidates are encouraged to build and expand their knowledge of colour, structure, pattern, and form by working with textile processes like screen printing and knit and stitch, alongside some technologies like 2D-3D printing and machinery cutting etc.
