Course Description
Bachelor of Design in Human-centered design (HCD) is a creative course that trains students within the numerous fields of artwork and layout with a focus on cross-disciplinary education for problem-solving. This course exposes the candidates to exploratory and creative knowledge of the system and helps candidates develop skill sets such as communication, time management, teamwork, brainstorm, decision-making, and critical thinking. Candidates are taught concepts related to R&D, product development, Information Technology industry with a focus on user interface and designing, and strategic service design. The course provides knowledge of disciplines in Industrial Design (Product Design, Furniture Design & Services and Systems), Visual Communication Design, Anthropology, Sociology, Cognitive Psychology & Cultural Studies, Sustainability and Information Technology by theoretical (professional, student interaction), video and practical approaches.
