Course Description
Bachelor of Design in Public Space Design course deals with the investigation of the complexity of the various public spaces and its necessities which can be formed and adjusted with the aid of technologies, social structures, demographics and so on. These spaces may range from chai stalls, bazaars, public squares, exhibition spaces, retail spaces, public libraries, places of mass transit and so on. The course offers an experiential and theoretical understanding of exterior and interior public spaces, the potential for upcycling and material investigations, development of observation skills to record human behaviour and existing site use and conditions. This course also incorporates research of sustainable technologies into the design process for public spaces.
