BE Naval Architecture and offshore Engineering is 4 years undergraduate program.The course covers the study of design, development, design evaluation (classification) and calculations at all stages of the life of a marine vehicle.The course also allows the students to carry basic and applied research.The students are exposed to learn the subjects like Preliminary design of the vessel, its detailed design, construction, trials, operation and maintenance, launching and dry-docking,ship designs calculations for ships by means of conversion, rebuilding, modernization, or repair.The course also involves the formulation of safety regulations and damage-control rules,approval and certification of ship designs to meet statutory and non-statutory requirements.
