Course Description

B.F.A. Applied Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Arts is an undergraduate Fine Arts course. It is a three years program of study (four years in some colleges) in a specialisation of Fine Arts which deals with the application of design and aesthetics to objects of function and everyday use. An integrated course is offered in the first year, and the remaining three years are allocated for specialisation in Applied Arts. In other words, B.F.A. (Applied Arts) is a degree that trains a student in the fields of industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design, advertising, decorative art, functional art, architecture and photography, etc. The B.F.A. (Applied Arts) degree course gives full exposure to print media, advertising and electronic media.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
