Course Description

Bachelor of Science in Food Sciences is concerned with the study of the nature of food, changes the food goes through due to processing, packaging and handling. This course incorporates a specialized study of all the different aspects of food, right from harvesting or slaughtering, gathering or butchering, and consumption by means of cooking and different ways of processing. The course also includes an extensive understanding of the latest technology and modern practices utilized in the food industry.


The candidate should have qualified 10+2 any stream or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
