Course Description
B.Sc. (Home Science Nutrition and Dietetics) is a 3 years undergraduate course that is designed to study Nutrition and Dietetics Science. In this course, students are taught how to prepare a proper diet for people, food management, components of a balanced diet, eating habits, and Lifestyle management. The course curriculum covers topics such as Human Physiology, Human nutrition, Food and Nutrition, Mother and child health, Food chemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry, Food microbiology, Introduction to food science, Family meal and diet planning, Science of bakery and confectionery, Food quality analysis, Introduction to food preservation, etc.
