BSc in Botany is a 3 years undergraduate course dedicated in study of structure, metabolism and genetics and various other biological aspects of Plants. The important concepts in Botanical Sciences that are covered in this stream are Plant Resource Utilization, Algae and Microbiology, Plant Physiology, Cell Biology, Mycology & Phytopathology, Reproductive Biology of Angiosperms, Archegoniatae etc. Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to get job roles as University professors, Ecologists, Botanist, Ecologist, Horticulturist, in various institutions of Government and Private sectors.
