Course Description

B.Sc in Economics,Mathematics,Statistics is a 3 years undergraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Principles of Microeconomics, differential calculus, differential calculus using maxima, descriptive statistics and probability, principles of macroeconomics, statistical methods, r programming, fundamentals of economic growth and development, introduction to python programming for mathematics, statistical inference, advanced micro and macroeconomics, introduction to mathematical modelling using python, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Economists, Financial Analysts, University Professors, Actuaries, Economic Examiners, Financial Forecasters and, Market Research Analysts. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
