Course Description
Through the study Candidates perform research aiding solutions to problems in physics or through experiments within a mathematically rigorous framework. Candidates discover mathematical methods for application to problems in physics and the development of mathematical methods suitable for such applications and also for the formulation of physical theories. The research related areas of physics are statistical mechanics, continuum mechanics, classical field theory and quantum field theory. The study delivers the theory of partial differential equation, variational calculus, Fourier analysis, potential and vector analysis.
