BSc Medical Laboratory Sciences is an undergraduate level course of 3 years. The course covers some important and popular topics like students perform various laboratory based diagnostic analysis on body fluids to test for ailments or diseases. The course covers some modules on Human Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Bio-Medical Waste Management, Pathology, Microbiology, Histopathology, Clinical Haematology, Serology, Parasitology & Virology etc. Upon completion of the course, candidates can expect to get placements as Laboratory Technicians, Medical Record Technician, Laboratory Manager in Diagnostic Centres, Clinics and Hospitals. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 4 to 8 Lakhs per annum.
