Course Description
B. Tech. Aeronautical Engineering- Aircraft Structures is a four year bachelor degree programme, designed to train the students in various expertise such as design, plan, structures, impetus, aerodynamics, streamlined features and frameworks of launch vehicles, aircraft and spacecraft etc. Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Materials Science etc. are the core subjects. The specialisation in aircraft structures include fundamental subjects such as elasticity, structural analysis, airworthiness and aeroelasticity. They are involved with analysing and creating structural specifications of an aircraft. Admission is provided by the majority of colleges through JEE Main or Advanced to those who have completed their higher secondary in physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects with an aggregate of 50%. The average fee ranges from 5000 to 2 Lakh over the span of 4 years.
