B. Tech Biochemical Engineering is a four-year, full-time, multidisciplinary course that combines aspects of biology, technology and engineering with the intention to come up with groundbreaking research in pharmaceutical, food and water treatment industries to help improve the quality of human lifestyle. The course basically covers various subjects that are associated with the chemical processes, production and development of biochemical products. The program aims to train candidates in biochemical engineering, biotechnology, microbial and enzyme systems, with the intention to develop an advanced understanding of the biological and biochemical concepts underlying such systems.
