Course Description

BTech in Chemical Engineering with specialisation in refining and petrochemicals is a 4 years undergraduate Engineering course. The course deals with optimal Engineering practices in the fields of natural gas or petroleum processing, transportation and utilization techniques. Some of the curriculum subjects covered are Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Momentum Transfer, Heat Transfer, Numerical Methods in Chemical Engineering, Mass Transfer, Chemical Engineering Software. Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to pursue career as Engineers in industries like Chemical industry, Refining & Petrochemicals, Fertilizers industries etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 5 to 10 Lakhs per annum.
