Course Description

B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering- Data Analytics is a 4 years undergraduate Engineering course that provides detailed knowledge in the field of Electronics integrated with computer engineering in addition with Wireless Sensor Networks which is specialization programme for building solutions for monitoring and recording the physical conditions of the environment and organizing the collected data at a central location. WSNs measure environmental conditions like temperature, sound, pollution levels, humidity, wind, and then process, store or transmit the data wirelessly. Some of the popular concepts on the specialized programme the candidates will study on are wireless networks, architectures and technologies, Sensor data acquisition, processing and handling, MAC, Link, Routing etc. Upon completion of the programme, candidates can expect to pursue career as technical support engineer, networking system engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer etc for various Tech Companies. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 4 to 8 Lakhs per annum. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream in PCM and are expected to qualify entrance exams like JEE, BITSAT, VITEEE. Average Fees for the course is typically between 1 lakhs to 3 Lakhs INR per annum depending on type of the institution.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
