B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering- Networking & Communication is a 4 years undergraduate Engineering course that provides detailed knowledge in field of Electronics integrated with computer engineering. The Networking & communications programme in addition to this course is a specialization which is about the analysis, design and use of local or wide-area mobile networks that link computers together worldwide. The internet is the most widely understood example of this. The curriculum is based on concepts in Networking and communication like satellite and cable systems, radio waves, internet and email, Modern DSP, Network Simulator, Antennas and Advanced Digital Communication systems, optical fibre communications etc. Upon completion of the programme, candidates can expect to pursue career as communication manager, Network Support Engineer, Network Support Engineer in various telecommunications service companies. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 4 to 8 Lakhs per annum. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream in PCM and are expected to qualify entrance exams like JEE, BITSAT, VITEEE.
