Course Description
B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering- Signal Processing is a 4 years undergraduate Engineering course that provides both technical and theoretical aspects of Electronics hardware, software and IT systems. Signal processing which is a specialization in the course is a system which is about analysing, modifying, and synthesizing signals such as images, sounds, motion pictures etc and their ways of transmission and storage techniques. Along with regular subjects of electronics and computer science the curriculum would include subjects significant to signal processing like Adaptive Signal Processing, DSP Algorithms and Architectures, Image & Video Processing, Signal Compression, DSP systems etc
Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to pursue career as Software developer, Information Processing Engineer, Signal Processing Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer in large Software and Electronics Hardware corporations. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 4 to 7 Lakhs per annum depending on company and job position.
Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream in PCM and are expected to qualify entrance exams like JEE, BITSAT, VITEEE. Average Fees for the course is somewhere between 1 lakhs to 3 Lakhs INR per annum
