Course Description

Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology is an expansive course that centres around the role the integration of communications and computers as well as software, middleware, storage, which enable access, storage, transmission, and manipulation of information. The course equips the candidates with the study and use of computer systems and to an extent, even telecommunication systems, to store, retrieve, create, manipulate, extract and even transmit information. This technology-intensive, application-focused program enables candidates to draw from a broad range of Information Technologies including computer hardware, networking, operating systems, programming, web development, database, scripting, IT security, IoT, and so on. The candidates are taught the theoretical methodologies as well as practical usage of Software development, software testing, software engineering, web design, databases, programming, computer networking and computer systems.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Maths + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate OR 50% PCM aggregate.
