Course Description
Bachelor of Technology in Information Science is a four-year, comprehensive program that focuses on providing the candidates with knowledge and understanding of the numerous concepts of software, databases and networking along with the investigation of properties and behaviour of information. The course equips the candidates with the study and use of computer systems and even telecommunication systems, to store, retrieve, create, manipulate, extract and even transmit information. This technology-intensive, application-focused program enables candidates to draw from a broad range of Information Technologies including computer hardware, networking, operating systems, programming, web development, database, scripting, IT security, IoT, and so on. The candidates are taught the theoretical methodologies as well as practical usage of Software development, software testing, software engineering, web design, databases, programming, computer networking and computer systems.
