B.Tech Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech Product Design is 5 years postgraduate course. The course aims to train candidates in various processes of conceptualization, design and execution of an idea for a product. This course mentors the candidates according to the requirements of this field which is user-centric and is closely related to aspects such as human factors, advanced CAD, research methods, social sciences, design management, safety rules and cognitive ergonomics. Product design includes developing the prototype for a wide range including furniture, mobile phones, movies or even software. Mechanical engineering includes the application of laws of physics for Design, Analysis and Manufacturing of mechanical systems. Students enrolled to the course are taught about how to make and collect motors and structures, how to control plants and vehicles of all sizes, understand concepts as Mechanics, Kinematics, Fluid Mechanics, Energy and vitality.
