Course Description

B. Tech M. Tech Aquacultural and Food Engineering is a multidisciplinary field of engineering that enables the candidates to apply their knowledge of engineering technology, fish physiology, business economics and biological science towards the design of agricultural products and aquaculture technology. This course also focuses on developing innovative and economic ways to conserve soil and water and thus, aid in the improvement of the processing of existent agricultural as well as aquacultural machinery, equipment and structures. The course also addresses Food Engineering, Farm Machinery, Research projects and Development activities deal with Integrated Rainwater Management, Soil Tillage, Utilisation of Fly ash, Ergonomic Database for Agricultural Equipment,

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate OR 50% PCB aggregate.
