Course Description
B. Tech M. Tech in Aquacultural engineering is a multidisciplinary field of engineering that is combination of both fish physiology and concepts of business economics with the aim to identify effective solutions for technical problems associated with farming aquatic vertebrates, invertebrates, and algae. The course centres around the design and development of Aquaculture technology with the aid of mechanical, biological and environmental systems along with principles and fundamentals of material engineering and instrumentation. The expansion of the aquaculture industry, that accounts for half of all seafood products consumed in the world, is attributed to Aquacultural engineering.
