Course Description

B.Tech. Pulp & Paper Engineering course is an undergraduate program. It is a branch of chemical technology which provides knowledge and skills to deals with the process of producing paper from pulp, wood and other raw materials and its products. The program emphasizes fundamentals and applications engineering in pulp and paper manufacturing sector. The curriculum will consist of topics like pulping, adhesives and starch, environment, recycle and water management, equipment and systems, debarking and wood preparation, industrial equipment and systems, pumps and mixers, paper machines and installation, finishing and converting, transport, logistics and warehousing, papermaking, safety and materials handling etc

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
