Course Description
The Diploma in First Aid and Emergency Care course is intended to teach students how to offer basic emergency medical care to injured or accident victims until more sophisticated medical aid arrives. Basic life support, haemorrhage control, fracture care, respiratory problems, and other first aid skills are some of the subjects covered in the course. Graduates of this programme can find employment as emergency medical technicians or first responders in a variety of facilities, including clinics, hospitals, emergency services, schools, and community organisations. The training might last anywhere from six months to a year, depending on the school that offers it.
