Course Description

Diploma in Human Rights course is designed to provide basic reflections that draw upon the local, social and political area in which human rights work. The course lets students develops procedures and plans for handling such attributes like certain unconventional practices carried out like untouchability, employing bonded labour and enable individuals to disguise more sympathetic and believable approach in social relations. The curriculum includes subjects for study like international & regional human rights approach, human rights under domestic laws and case law, judiciary and human rights, human rights of various vulnerable persons and groups, study of various commissions on human rights, media & human rights and humanitarian laws all by a mixture of theoretical and practical approach of teaching.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed 10+2 from any recognized board or Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Some colleges conduct entrance test or selection is based on merit list
