Course Description

Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering includes structuring and creating techniques for the surveying, exploration, extraction, production, processing, transportation, storage, refining, and distribution of crude oil or natural gas. Fundamentally, a candidate, during the course, learns important concepts associated with mining technology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, energy, environmental science, refinery operations, geology, oil and gas transportation etc. that caters to the needs of the petroleum engineering sector. The course consists of subjects like drilling fluids and cement, drilling technology, petroleum safety fundamentals, petroleum engineering, reservoir, geologies, humanities and social sciences, mechanical engineering, numerical and statistical methods and petroleum production operations on a theoretical basis as well as the practical basis.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10th or 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 33% marks in aggregate.
