Course Description
Diploma in Social Legislation course educates the candidates about the legislation which is a brand of law to control, guide and restrain the behaviour of individuals and communities of the society. On completion of the course, candidates are expected to ensure social justice, bringing social reform, promote social welfare, bringing desired social change and protecting and promoting rights of socio-economically disadvantaged groups of the society. Candidates are provided information about the maintenance of aged parents, the law relating to women, the law relating to family court and juvenile justice and child right.
