Course Description

LL.M. with specialization in Energy Law / Law and Technology is a post graduate Law specialization programme of 1 year. This programme is a comprehensive study in legal aspects of the energy industry and students get a chance to learn about recent regulatory shifts, economic changes etc that continuously affect the Energy industry. Some of the important syllabus covered in this programme are, Research method and legality, Comparative Public law system/system of government, Oil and Gas Law policy, Regulatory framework for Energy sector, Mining and Natural resource law. Candidates have the potential to work as Legal consultants and industry lawyers for Energy firms. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 6 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs per annum depending on the organisation and job position. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete LL.B from University/Colleges recognized by UGC. Most Universities set their own criteria of minimum 50%. Average Fees for the course is between 20K to 3 Lakhs INR per annum depending on the institution.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
