Course Description

MA Film Production is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like History of Cinema and TV, Still Photography and Visualization, Basics of Video Production, Mass Communication theories and Sociology of Media, Basics of Scriptwriting, Basics Production Principles, Cinematography and Audio-graphy, Basic Post Production Techniques, etc. The course takes a practical and theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Associate Producer, Media, Films, TV, Radio & Journalism Teacher, Operations Executive, Production Executive, TV Program Content Manager, Versioning Producer, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
