Course Description
MA in Communication, Culture and Media is a full-time 2-year program that covers areas of study such as Philosophy of Research, Video Production, Reading Film, Cyberculture, Community Radio, etc along with other core subjects including Media Studies, Cultural Studies, Understanding Art & Music, Gender, Culture and Space, Cyberculture, Visual Design, Media Law, Community Radio etc. The primary objective of this course is to develop an understanding of the constructs of culture and the influence of socio-political and economic factors on the culture of a particular society. This program aims to facilitate students with the development of critical-analytical skills, necessary knowledge base and training required to work in industries like media production, news agencies, cultural organisations etc.
