Course Description

MBA in Quantitative Finance is a post-graduation specialisation course of 2 years duration. It is a business management program that imparts knowledge of how to use mathematical models like probabilities and statistics to assess financial risks and benefits involved in Pricings and Investments of an organisation. The course covers a wide range of fundamentals of business management related to quantitative finance like Computational Finance, Asset pricing, Econometrics, Financial Management, Risk management, Financial Security etc at improving organisation’s financial goals Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to get placements as Quantitative Analysts, Quantitative risk analysts, Project Analysts, Trading strategist, Quantitative model developer etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 5 to 15 Lakhs per annum depending on the company. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete at least a Bachelor’s degree followed by cracking entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, CMAT etc. Average Fees for the course is between 50K to 10 Lakhs INR depending on the institutions. Many premier Business Schools like IIMs provide this course.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
