Textile Technology is a study of textile processing and its production. ME Textile Technology is a combination of advanced principles of engineering and specific knowledge of textile equipment and processes. This course uses concepts and methods from several other branches of engineering such as chemical, instrumentation, computer, structural, electronic and mechanical engineering. The course involves the application of scientific and engineering principles to the design and control related to all aspects of fiber, textile and apparel processes, their related products and machinery. These include natural and man-made materials, processing of materials with machines, safety and health, energy conservation, waste management and pollution control.
