Course Description

M. Phil. Geoinformatics is a full-time 2-year program that aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals and deals with the study and research in various fields and concepts of Geology, examination and utilization of natural resources their management, sustenance and conservation. The primary objective of this course is to create professionals that have advanced, in-depth theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the field, necessary skillset, and extensive training required to work in some of the major industries of this field.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have a Masters degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks. Many colleges conduct an entrance exam for admission to this course and/or require a valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
