Course Description

M.Sc (Agriculture) in Agronomy is 2 years post graduate program.In this course the students are taught about the various function and functioning parts of the plant. By plant physiology,everything that course in the plant is studied thoroughly. The various function and metabolic activities and processes that occur in the plant constitute the major part of the study of this subject. The course include study about the morphology or structure of the plant, various processes like respiration,transpiration, and photosynthesis of plants. The interaction of the plant with its immediate surrounding or ecosystem is also studied in this course. The research topics are focused on plant developmental biology,plant microbe interaction and plant biotechnology. .

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bsc in (agr) agronomy or in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
