Course Description
Students enrolled in M.Sc. Biology are taught the application of scientific methods in experiments, use of scientific equipment, laboratory techniques, and procedures along with how to gather, organize, and analyze data.
The curriculum is designed to train students in carrying out complex mathematical and statistical computations, understanding scientific concepts and master scientific terminology. They are also taught to present research findings both orally and in writing, use charts and graphs to illustrate results.
Biology is the natural science that involves the study of all aspects of living organisms, from molecules, cells, and tissues to organisms. This field of study has a variety of branches of specialization in diverse areas such as Biochemistry, Ecology, and Botany.
Successful postgraduates of the course are trained in critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and manual dexterity. They ideally possess qualities such as precision, order, and attention to detail as needed in research and laboratory projects. Such skills can be applied to both scientific and non-scientific jobs in the field.
