Course Description

is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Biosystematics and Evolution, Structure and Function of Animals, Biochemistry, Computers and Bioinformatics, Animal Ecology, Cell Biology, Animal Behaviour and Wildlife, Molecular Cell Biology, Concepts of Environmental Biology, Concepts of Immunology, Molecular Genetics, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Zookeeper, Wildlife Educator, Wildlife Rehabilitator, Environmental Consultant, Conservationist, Biological Laboratory Technician, Zoological/Biomedical Laboratory Technician, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
