Course Description
M.Sc.Livestock Products Technology is 2 years undergraduate degree program. The main aim of the course is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of livestock and technology. The subjects included in the program are microbiology and quality control, packaging and sensory evaluation of livestock products, fresh meat technology, meat products technology, meat by-products technology, milk, and milk products technology, preparation of value-added meat products, hygienic milk production, hygienic slaughter, utilization of slaughterhouse by-products preparing of value-added indigenous as well as milk products, and dressing of food animals.
