Course Description

M.Sc. Marine Geology is a 2 Year Postgraduate Programme. It is an interdisciplinary field of study. Training involves meteorology, climatology, Ocean sciences, Geographic information System etc. Graduates can work in Geological Survey of India (GSI); Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Atomic Minerals Directorate (AMD), Groundwater, mines and geology departments of State Governments as well as MNCs and other private organizations.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
