Course Description
The study demonstrates the principles of design and analysis to biological systems and biomedical technologies. This study promotes some areas of research including bacteria engineered to produce chemicals, tissue engineered organs, portable disease diagnostic devices and new medical imaging technology. Candidates are trained in fundamentals of both biology and engineering, which may include elements of electrical and mechanical engineering, computer science, materials science, chemistry, and biology. This course delivers the use engineering methods to achieve biosynthesis of animal or plant products in order to undertake the fermentation processes.
