M.Tech in Design and Manufacturing is a Post graduate Engineering specialisation course of 2 years. The Course constitutes of program that is focused on study Design and Manufacturing processes of Engineering Goods and Services. The course covers a wide range of fundamental subjects related to Product Design and manufacturing processes like Metal Casting Processes, Modern Manufacturing Processes, Computer Aided Engineering, Quality Engineering and Management, Digital Prototyping, Metal Forming, Operations Planning and Control etc. Upon completion of this M.Tech course candidates can expect to get job roles of Product Design Engineer, Research and Development Scientist, Process Engineer etc in Engineering Companies and other MNCs like General Electric, Honeywell, Bosch, Mahindra and Mahindra’s, L&T, DRDO, Tata etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 4 to 12 Lakhs per year depending on the job position and type of company.
