Course Description

M Tech Disaster Mitigation and Management is a postgraduate Environmental course. Disaster Management course deals with discipline of dealing with and avoiding risks. The program enables students to strengthen their capacity in strategic and practical aspects of disaster preparedness, rehabilitation and reconstruction; understand different approaches to post-disaster reconstruction project management; understand the construction professional's ability to anticipate and respond to events which damage or destroy an infrastructure project recognize the construction industry's ongoing responsibility toward an infrastructure's users and the importance of community engagement; understand the principles and applications of knowledge transfer and integration; undertake critical analysis of existing research, investigate a relevant issue and develop an appropriate approach to resolution.

Eligibilty

Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
