Course Description

M.Tech Earthquake Disaster Hazards and Mitigation is the field of science that involves the study of the protection of society and natural and human-made atmosphere from earthquakes. It also studies the protection of living being by reducing seismic risk to socio-economically acceptable levels. It has defined as the science of bolstering structures to withstand seismic impacts, which is why it is considered a subset of geotechnical and structural engineering. Earthquake Engineering is a systematic study of earthquakes. It is an investigation of and attempt at resolving the danger posed by damaging earthquakes.

Eligibilty

Candidates who have completed their (10+2) examination with science subject such as (Biology, Math and Chemistry) from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks aggregate. Based on entrance exam like GATE, CMJ, CCMT entrance exam etc for admission to this course.
